SLC-TD · Industrial laundries

Uniforms, from collection to return.

Organise uniform allocations, garments and kits for employees at your client companies. SLC-TD provides a starting point for recording the service stages in an industrial laundry. We start with the available functions and define any further developments together.

From the customer to the laundry

From allocations to individual garments.

Organise garment allocations for customer companies and maintain the link between premises, employee and individual uniform throughout the service.

Defining premises and allocations

The contact organises premises and employees, defining the types, sizes and quantities of allocated garments.

Identifying and searching

A code identifies the garment. The search makes its information and operational history available to view.

Operational work

From marking to return delivery.

Within the industrial laundry’s work cycle, scans record the stages uniforms pass through and guide kit preparation for each employee.

  1. Marking and intake

The barcode identifies each uniform. Marking and intake record its entry into the operational workflow.

  2. Assembly and preparation

After processing, operators assemble uniforms into kits for each employee and print the delivery label.

  3. Garment delivery and collection

The driver records kit deliveries to the customer and uniform collections for the next cycle.

Dedicated interfaces

Laboratory, handheld and cloud.

The PC works offline; the handheld records collections and deliveries and acts as a bridge to the cloud. Workstations, handhelds and peripherals are defined around the actual process.

The online portal

Contacts organise premises, employees and garment allocations; laundry managers access the management functions. The portal makes the data it has received available.

The laboratory PC

Staff record garment intake, prepare kits and print labels. The local software works without Internet access, using the data received at the last synchronisation.

The driver’s handheld device

The driver records collections, deliveries and reported issues. Connected to the PC via USB, the handheld lets the operator start exchanging data with the laboratory.

Before you start

Some useful answers.

Who is SLC-TD for?

For industrial laundries managing the uniforms of their client companies’ employees. It provides a starting point for organising uniform allocations, garments, kits and recorded stages; together, we check whether it meets the needs of the work to be done.

Does it cover the laundry’s entire production process?

SLC-TD offers basic uniform management functions, not complete management of the production facility. The functions described are assessed against your process; any additional needs require an assessment and an agreement on development.

Can we develop new functions together?

Yes. We start with how you work to assess useful customisations and their feasibility. Together, we define the project’s priorities and conditions, distinguishing available functions from those to be developed.

How is a reported issue managed?

The garment is sent for inspection. The manager records the outcome, distinguishing between a return to the cycle and withdrawal from use.

Does the software decide when to replace a garment?

No. Cycle information supports management; physical assessment and decisions remain with the people responsible.

Does everyone receive the data immediately?

No. The handheld sends collections and deliveries to the cloud when the connection allows. Exchanging laboratory data requires connecting the handheld to the PC via USB and starting synchronisation. The PC works with the data from the last exchange.
